Rainy Saturday

The weather on Saturday was pretty miserable. The rain stopped for moments, but it was very windy. Our original plan was to make a day trip to Mt St Helens, but alas, it did not happen. So in the morning we went to nearby Green Lake park and walked a little bit around the lake. There were still a lot of people at the park despite the weather.



Afterward, we went to Magnuson Park which sits on Lake Washington. The weather made for good wind surfing conditions. The bottom right photo is when the rain started coming down, and we had to run back to the car.

So, we all got wet getting back to the car. My fake North Face jacket that I got at the fake market in Shanghai is not waterproof. Despite the fake gore-tex tag, it's pretty much fake waterproof. Anyway, what's a trip to Seattle without coffee? We stopped at Tully's for hot drinks before heading home.
